The Abortion Rate has fallen to its lowest number since the Roe v Wade decision in 1973. According to the Guttmacher Institute, there were 14.6 abortions per 1,000 women in 2014. That number has been declining since 1980, but still represents nearly 1 million abortions in the U.S. per year.
